Among all the diseases linked to the natural ageing of human beings, Gaël Chételat has focused on research into Alzheimer’s disease. She is a research director at INSERM, the French National Institute for Health and Medical Research, and heads the Physiopathology and Imaging of Neurological Disorders unit. Her research focuses on the diagnosis and pathophysiology of Alzheimer’s disease using multimodal neuroimaging. In this latest episode, she talks about the diagnosis, treatment, factors and prevention of Alzheimer’s cognitive decline.
