Post-doc

My research investigates the associations between sleep disturbances and neurodegenerative processes in normal and pathological aging. I have a particular interest for the associations between sleep disturbances (e.g., obstructive sleep apnea, rapid eye movement sleep disturbances) and (i) Alzheimer’s disease biomarkers, (ii) the degeneration of the cholinergic system and (iii) associated neuropsychiatric symptoms.

I did my PhD in the Inserm U1077 unit under the supervision of Dr Géraldine Rauchs and Dr Gaël Chételat, and moved overseas in 2020 for my postdoc in the Center for Advanced Research in Sleep Medicine (University of Montreal, Canada) under the mentorship of Prof Nadia Gosselin and Prof Julie Carrier.

After a visiting scholarship in the Douglas Mental Health Institute (McGill University, Canada), I came back to France in August 2024 in the Neuropresage team to work on the role of sleep disturbances on the emergence of neuropsychiatric symptoms in neurodegenerative diseases.
